How to apply for funding: for PhD students
- As a member of the IRSAE network, you are eligible to apply for a mobility grant for the following:
- Theme-oriented activities or IRSAE PhD courses: High priority
- Extended research visit or exchange: High priority
- Individual-oriented non-IRSAE activities and courses: Low priority
- Please read our manual for further details about what you can apply for
- All application forms are electronic, select what you will apply for:
- Apply for a mobility grant to attend a theme-oriented activity
- Apply for a mobility grant to attend an IRSAE PhD course
- Apply for a mobility grant to do an exchange or extended research visit
- Apply for a mobility grant to attend an individual-oriented non-IRSAE activity or course
- Mobility grant application for master students
- The IRSAE coordinator will inform you when the IRSAE secretariat has reviewed your application.
- All students should write a blog-report after attending an activity or course, please have a look at the blog-report instructions.


How to apply for funding: for senior researchers
- Senior researchers can apply for funding to organize theme-orientated activities and IRSAE PhD courses.
- Please read our manual for further details about what you can apply for
- All application forms are electronic, select what you will apply for:
- Organize a theme-oriented activity
- Organize an IRSAE PhD course
- The IRSAE coordinator will contact you when the IRSAE secretariat has reviewed the application.
- A theme activity report or IRSAE PhD course report should be filled out after the activity or course.
- IRSAE also expects partner institutes to ask the course participants to evaluate the activity or course and one participant should be selected to write a blog-post for the web page.
