It is holiday time and many of you are roasting on a beach somewhere “til syden”. Yet, 2 new courses open to IRSAE students are coming up this fall:

First, a course in Scientific Writing which will be held at Hedmark University College, Campus Evenstad, Norway, on November 6–7. The workshop will be taught by Brian Cusack from Science Craft (Berlin, Germany). This is free for IRSAE students but is limited to 10 participants only, so register quickly with IRSAE (please do not register directly with Science Craft). More information on the content of the workshop can be found on Science Craft website, here.

Then, an introductory course on capture-recapture and capture-recovery analysis for the study of animal populations which will be held at the IMEDEA, in Esporles, Mallorca, Spain on November 24–28. The fee for this course is EUR 350 for students and EUR 400 for others, without accomodation (~EUR 35/night). More information can be found here or directly by contacting the course organiser Giacomo Tavecchia. Limited to 20 participants. Please register directly with Giacomo before September 25th, but let us (irsae) know as well.
