Biodiversity impacts every aspect of our daily lives. Applied ecology researchers are committed to supporting societal transformation for the sustainable use and management of biodiversity. However, the connection between science and policymaking is complex and challenging. One of the challenges is to effectively transfer knowledge and disseminate research results to bridge the gap between science and policy. The 2024 IRSAE summer school aims to understand the policy landscape as well as explore and discuss how to effectively communicate and engage in the science-policy dialogue.
